At Australian International School, Dhaka, the IB Continuum provides a clear and consistent learning path that guides students from early exploration to mature independence. Through the PYP, MYP, and DP our learners develop the skills, habits, and mindset they need to engage with the world thoughtfully and confidently.
In the PYP, students begin by exploring ideas, asking questions, and expressing their understanding in creative ways. As they move into the MYP, their learning becomes more structured and analytical. They learn to investigate problems, connect subjects, and build strong academic routines. The DP then challenges students to think deeply, manage complex tasks, and prepare for university with discipline and purpose. This progression is intentional. Each stage prepares students for the next, allowing them to grow with continuity and direction.
Our teachers play a central role in bringing the IB continuum to life. Their planning, guidance, and care ensure that learning stays meaningful and relevant. They create environments where students feel confident to participate, collaborate, and take responsibility for their work. Parents strengthen this process by supporting learning at home and maintaining a strong partnership with the school.
